Can you Spot Fun Spot?

Fox 35 found the right Spot for their new promotion. The following link will show you a new campaign our local television station Fox 35 is doing where people see the Fox 35 News Truck wherever they go including at Fun Spot. Yes, our park and Ferris Wheel were used as part of the Fox 35 campaign. We are glad to help in their campaign and to acknowledged as one of the key “Spots” in Orlando to be seen at.”

Hospitality rewards its own.

This Thursday, January 27th, the Central Florida Hotel and Lodging Association (CFHLA) will honor hospitality workers in 13 categories with “Golden Pineapple” Awards. Seven judges reviewed all the contenders to decide who are the best of the best. Fun Spot’s own Mark Brisson (Marketing Director) was one of the seven judges. Fun Spot Attractions is happy to be part of the Central Florida tradition. Fun Spot Tickets are also part of the “prize” package that the 13 winners will receive. Fun Spot Tickets are also given each month at the International Drive Chamber of Commerce luncheon to the best Ambassador of the Month and the Law Enforcement Officer of the Month. We give back to our Hospitality community.

John Jr meets with Senator Bill Nelson.

On Monday, January 24th, CEO John Arie, Sr and TV spokesperson John Jr were part of a small breakfast held at Universal Portofino Resort where Senior Senator Bill Nelson gave a briefing to local hospitality leaders on the National efforts to help hospitality. With less than two dozen people there, Fun Spot Attractions was happy to have two representatives to meet and greet the Senator. The teen boy who wanted to “Go Again” in Fun Spot commercials 10 years ago is now meeting with Senators. Now that is a multi-level track of life. After meeting Senator Nelson, John Jr said it was “Huge!”

Construction, Construction and more Construction

Our Kissimmee park, Fun Spot USA,  has been extremely busy with many new construction projects. Fun Spot is hoping to reveal the new SkyCoaster building in the next few weeks. Our new "Screamin Eagle" should be delivered in the upcoming weeks as well. There has been much speculation on where the Galaxy Spin will go. Once construction is complete on the new indoor building the ticket booth will be moved along with offices and the old building will be removed to make way for the roller coaster. This portion of the project is still several months away.

The ticket booth and offices slated for demolition.

Future home of the Galaxy Spin

This will be where the current ticket booth and offices will be moved to.

Hot Seat Receives a “face lift”, making it hotter

The Hot Seat, a.k.a. Screamin Swing ride at Fun Spot USA has received a new coat, of paint that is. Like other Screamin Swings it was very plain white pillars. Now it has gone “Americana” for Fun Spot USA. Blue pillars with white stars and red circles, makes it Red, White & Blue. Sometimes, even Thrill Ride needs a make-over to make it hotter.
